she's my niece, blake, and i think she's ridiculously cute. she's a little over 5 months and i'm so happy that i live so close to her so i could snap a few photos. she's the youngest of 5 kids. 4 of which are girls. you might remember her from their family photo session back in november. isn't she just a precious little girly girl already?

it's my friday today and i couldn't be happier!! have a lovely weekend everybody! xo

airplanes & church bells

a few more from the california trip... we stopped by an airforce museum on the way back home and had such a delightful time just roaming around checking out all of the cool planes. my grandpa was a fighter pilot in wwII, so the airforce and awesome little jets have a special place in my heart. :)

the jet below happens to be the fastest jet that's ever been created. it's called the sr-22 blackbird.

pretty incredible.

and i did manage to get myself into one photo while on the trip. sort of.

while in san diego, we visited the first catholic mission of california. it was beautiful.

the husband and i took a quick trip down to san diego, ca this last weekend to spend some time with family. it was a beautiful weekend down there.. even though it did rain off and on the whole time. but coming from the desert, rain is always welcomed with open arms. besides, it isn't quite beach season anyways. :) just wanted to post a few photos from the trip... i'm sure i'll post a few more once i've gone through them. these ones make me wish i were back there... lost in california dreamland...

i could seriously sit around and edit photos of this gorgeous girl all day long! it's so much fun! doesn't she photograph well? i just finished putting the finishing touches on this session and wanted to share a few {quite a few, actually..} more with you.

this wooden pear actually plays music and was one of their very first purchases for their baby girl's nursery...

It's been a great couple of weekends! To start off, I was able to meet up with beautiful & talented {J} to take some lovely promotional shots for her career as a musician. The very next weekend, we met up again, but this time with her adorable boyfriend {A}. We had a great time doing a mini session of the two of them for some holiday photos. {M's} Maternity Session

This has been one of the greatest weeks ever! TWO of my sister-in-laws gave birth to beautiful and healthy babies. I couldn't be a prouder auntie. They are both absolutely perfect. :)

A few weeks ago, my brother's wife asked if I would capture some shots of her baby bump and I was so relieved that she did! I'd wanted to take photos of her belly for some time! So these are pre-baby.. um, obviously. I'll post some of little baby {C} once we officially have that photo shoot. :) Enjoy!

My good friend is having a baby girl in November and I drove up to St. George over the weekend for her shower. She lives in Wyoming, so it's always a good time when we finally get to hang out with her and her husband... Eye Candy Workshop

It starts on the 20th of April and is a self paced workshop all about photography.. taught by one of my absolute FAVORITE photographers Sheye Rosemeyer. Just had to share my excitement with you all!
